The Segelocum Partnership
Segelocum is a partnership offering bespoke services designed to help clients grow.
Traditionally, most companies acquire customers by osmosis - particularly in export markets. This can lead to a fragmented sales effort, using the wrong people in the organisation to chase the wrong business - the "moth & lantern" syndrome.
What we do is to structure the clients sales approach by looking at the why and how of sales, particularly in overseas markets. We are also happy to take a direct role in selecting, training and managing sales agents and distributors as well as the direct sales force, to ensure that the client is maximising exposure to the right customers, and that the sales force (direct or indirect) is ready, willing and able to close on business.
The process works both ways - we have helped a number of European firms establish their products in the UK via agents and distributors.
Our training programmes are broad in scope and narrow in focus. We look at your specific requirements and propose a package to give a measurable positive outcome at reasonable cost.
